Fall 2025 Bible Studies & Classes
Sunday Night Bible Study
Led by our student president, Kylie Baker-Hale, with support from the Director (Tasha Morwell), the study this semester will be going over the Old Testament, looking at the stories and historical contexts that informed Jesus’ ministry and our ancestry as Christians. (This Bible study happens at 7:15, after the Sunday Night Supper.)
Tuesday Night Worship & Fellowship
The Wesley Foundation has a short worship service every Tuesday evening at 6:30pm, followed by fellowship time with food, ice cream, and games.
BYOL Book Study
Bring your own lunch to the Wesley Foundation (Wednesdays 12:00 - 1:00) for a study on the book “Accidental Saints” by Nadia Bolz-Weber, starting September 3rd (books provided at no cost to the student). We will discuss what it means to be on the margins and what the gospel says about those of us who seem to be on the outside looking in.
Promise Study Group
The Promise Study Group will meet at 4:00pm on Thursdays to talk about what it means to be part of the LGBTQ+ community while also being Christian. We’ll discuss the interpretations that have been used to harm queer people as well as interpretations that indicate that Jesus would be open and affirming to all. The purpose of this study group is to provide a supportive and faith-nurturing environment to folks of all sexual orientations and gender identities/expressions.
